Welcome to 4th Grade! I am Mrs. Broughton, and I’ll be your fourth grade teacher this year.
I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, and graduated from O'Gorman High School and Dakota State University. I have previously taught middle school in Nebraska and Sioux Falls, and am starting my 10th year of teaching in Canton.
My husband, Kyle, and I have three children. We have two boys at Canton High School this year! Tanner is a junior and Jaydn is a freshman. Our daughter, Zada, is a 4th grader in Mrs. Heck's class.
When I'm not in school, I enjoy watching my children's sporting events, reading, going to the lake, and shopping for shoes & great deals. I also enjoy cruising around town in our 67 Firebird convertible when the weather is nice. I look forward to a great year with you in my class.
